Raymond Oliver Moyer
October 2, 1935 – August 11, 2019
Ray was born in Fairmont NE to Hugh & Ruby (Slaughter) Moyer. Ray was one of 7 children. Ray married Beverly Vosler and had 3 children. Ray spent most of his life working for BN railroad. Ray married Charlotte (Hicks) and became the step father to 4 adult kids. Ray was in Cornhusker Early Ford V-8 Car Club. He enjoyed rebuilding his old Ford cars and trucks. Ray and Charlotte traveled all over the U.S., Canada, and part of Mexico. They enjoyed spending their winters down in South Padre Island, TX. Ray bought an old gas station in Hallam NE. Where he fixed his old cars. Ray & Charlotte had coffee and get together almost every week with people from around Hallam NE. They became his second family.
Ray is survived by: son: Raymond D Moyer, daughters: Lorena (Terry) Linscott, Threasa (Jim) Yonker, stepson: James Hicks, stepdaughters: Dianne (Harold) Raymond, Teena Newsome, Dawn Wilson, brother: Richard Moyer, sister: Nyla Moyer, brother in law: Fred Briggs Sr. Sister in law: Lynda (John) Cannon, Carol Debra Moyer, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few great, great, grandchildren. Proceeded in death by his parents, wife, brothers: Ted, Dwain, And Neal Moyer, sister: Faye Swartz, sister in laws: Peggy Briggs, JoAnne Moyer, and Helen Moyer, brothers in law: Dick Burchfield.

Funeral: 1:00 p.m., August 15, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation: one hour prior to service. Memorials to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
