February 3, 1939 – September 22, 2024Janet May Lubben, 85, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and care touched the lives of many.
Janet is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Lubben and his wife Lori, and Jim Lubben and his wife Heidi. She leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson, Kimber Lubben, Anthony Lubben, Tyler Lubben, and Garrison Lubben, as well as six great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Lubben, her parents, and her grandson, Andrew Lubben.
A dedicated and passionate businesswoman, Janet owned and operated her own beauty salon, where she built lasting relationships with her clients and became a beloved fixture in her community.
A memorial service to honor Janet’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at United Lutheran Church in Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family for further designation.
