Jesus Morales, 42, of Lincoln, passed away February 1, 2024. He was born December 24, 1981, in Chiautla de Tapia Puebla Mexico.
A man of many virtues and some imperfections, Jesus was a representation of love, compassion, and understanding. Fearlessly standing up for his beliefs, he possessed an active spirit and found solace in the mountains, relishing the unparalleled freedom he felt at their peaks.
His love for soccer was matched only by his enthusiasm and unique relationship with his sobrinos. Jesus had a soft spot for animals, especially the ones that others found intimidating. His generosity knew no bounds, as he consistently lent a helping hand without expecting anything in return. Family was paramount in his life, and he shared a special bond with his parents. Watching movies with his siblings and engaging in intense video game sessions were some of his cherished bonding moments.
Jesus was a person of immense strength, kindness, and grace. Maya Angelou’s words, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel,” perfectly encapsulate Jesus, as he left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his parents, Eusebio and Silvina Morales; siblings, Maribel Morales, Adriana Morales, Victor Morales, and Giovanni Morales; and 11 nieces and nephews. Jesus is preceded in death by his aunt, Ramona Andrade.
Memorials may be donated to the family for future designation.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln. Rosary will begin at 10:00 AM, with the Funeral Service following at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln. The interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln.
