Larry Barthelman, 80, of Lincoln, died peacefully on January 30, 2022, in Milford.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Connecting Pointe Church, 1901 S. 70th St., Lincoln, NE 68506.
Larry was born September 2, 1941, in Montezuma, IA, the son of Howard E. and Ruth H. (Kerr) Barthelman. He was a 1959 graduate of Oskaloosa High School. Larry worked in sales and distribution for Anderson Erickson (AE), Pepsi, Hiland, Valley Vending Services (VVS), and JC Penny.
He married Barbara A. Lippard on November 4, 1961, in Oskaloosa, IA. Larry and Barbara raised their children in Osakaloosa, IA, but moved to Lincoln, NE in 1994 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister Shirley Barthelman.
He is survived by his Wife; Children Joy Van Gilder, Mary (Rob) Klucas, Jon (Tricia) Barthelman, and Mark Barthelman; Grandchildren Jeremy (Erin) Cowell, Jennifer Hamner, Shaina (Steve) Humann, Joshua (Vanessa Cox) Cowell, Taylor (Stephanie) Klucas, Dalton Petty, Kasey Klucas, and Cordell Barthelman; Great-grandchildren Antonio Martinez, Adrian Aguilar, Jacob McCarty, Ayla Kadavy, Alexander and Austin Hamner, Henry Humann, Aiden Hamner, Hazel Humann, Luciana Klucas, Harvey Humann, R. Milo Klucas, Juliette Klucas, Briar Cowell and Emmarie Cowell, all from the Lincoln area; Sisters Barbara (Keith) Krumm of Manchester, TN and Karen (William) Ross of Omaha, NE.
