Phyllis Vculek (Webster), 79, passed away on August 30, 2021, at Bryan East. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 10 at Wyuka Funeral Home with Pastor Rob officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.

Phyllis was born on May 2, 1942, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Radmore and Verna Webster. She grew up in Havelock where her father owned a car dealership. She attended Northeast High School, graduating in 1960. Her faith was important to her as she went to services regularly and even played the organ and piano at her church. She married Stuart the following year and, after having 3 children (Rodney, Lynette, and Daniel), she graduated from nursing school in 1974. Phyllis had a huge heart and would offer her assistance at any chance she could. She adopted Jason in 1983 and her grandson Brandon in 2002. Phyllis spent most of her employment with Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital as a charge nurse. After retirement, she and Stu bought a camper and spent a lot of time traveling. She loved camping as well as her shar-pei dogs. Many of those dogs were show dogs and one of them even became a national champion. During retirement, Phyllis also volunteered at her church and with the Teammates Mentoring Program. Her other hobbies included gardening, crossword puzzles, watching movies, and reading.  She loved spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Stuart; children, Rodney, and Lynette; brother, Jim Webster; and sisters-in-law, Joan Webster, and Cindy Vculek.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Daniel and Jason (Kaylee) Vculek; grandchildren, Brandon, Leah, and Sophie Vculek; brother, Jack Webster; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Webster and Pam Meranda; and brother-in-law, David Vculek as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Masks will be required at the service.
