Linda Sue Tesch

Linda Sue Tesch, age 61, of Lincoln, Nebraska, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at UNMC surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 26th, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 O Street, Lincoln, NE 68510. Burial will follow the service and will take place in Wyuka Cemetery. A reception will be provided at Wyuka’s Garden Room. Linda was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter of the late Helen Bellinger and Father Dewey Engelsgjerd. She attended Lincoln Northeast High School and continued on, graduating from Southeast Community college. Linda went on to spend many years working with and encouraging students and staff in the Agricultural economics department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She married the love of her life, Carl Tesch Jr. on May 28, 1983. Their devotion for one another was unshakeable and provided a wonderful example for their children.
Linda loved sewing any creation and craft projects of all kinds. She delighted most in making things for the people she loved, especially her grandkids. If there was something Linda could buy, she would hand make it first, she was extremely handy. Her quilting was beautiful. Outside of the home, Linda loved being in nature, whether biking, hiking, walking, or gardening. She enjoyed playing the organ, and you could always hear her voice in church singing. She never missed her children’s or grandchildren’s important events, so many baseball games and dance recitals. Linda absolutely loved her family being together.
She is survived by her four children, Philip Andrew Tesch and wife Jamie, Nathan Samuel Tesch and wife Katherine, Ellen Marie Tesch, Douglas Alvin Tesch and fiancé Alexus; four grandchildren, Isabelle Tesch, Jaxson Tesch, James Tesch and Hank Donahoe; her two sisters, Annette Wiegert and husband Matt and Gaylene Lewin and husband Perry; six nieces and nephews, Neal Lewin, Tyler Lewin, Micah Wiegert, Kate Wiegert, Thomas Wiegert, and Lindsey Wiegert.
